I am Patricia Liden
Welcome to my journey – a mix of resilience, innovation, and transformative change. At a very young age, I left my parents' house in the south of Brazil and went to live alone in a big city, São Paulo. Since then, I have been operating in the corporate market for more than 25 years. I started my career in technology, developing codes and laying the foundations for the professional I have become today. Over time, I worked in business and IT consultancies, as well as large companies in different sectors, such as Banks and Finance, Consumer Goods, Retail, and others. This journey not only broadened my technical skills but also my understanding of diverse business cultures and practices, enriching my approach to tackling challenges and finding solutions. This diversity transformed me into a generalist professional, with broad skills and the purpose of making a difference for the people I lead and the companies I work for. I have rescued failed projects and guided complex initiatives, always focusing on people and efficient resource management. My leadership style evolved to emphasize mentorship, fostering a culture of learning and empowerment within my teams, ensuring that each member felt valued and motivated. I have an academic background that I am proud of. I have PMP certification and specialized in Portfolio Management, Programs and Projects, Business Management, and Market Strategy. I master initiatives for mapping and design of processes, to implement improvements and technological innovation, with the support of organizational change management. This comprehensive education and certification have equipped me to stay ahead of trends and leverage emerging technologies for strategic advantage. In the midst of personal challenges, such as the painful loss of my husband 13 years ago, I have always found strength in optimism, faith, and gratitude. They are more than just words to me; they are the virtues that guide me. Since my daughter was two years old, she and I have continued to strengthen our spirits, believing in the power of our dreams. This resilience has been a cornerstone, teaching me to view each adversity as an opportunity for growth and self-innovation. Recently, I embraced yet another life change, now to Portugal, embodying my commitment to growth and innovation. With a global mindset, I aim to leverage my extensive experience in project management and business improvement to create environments where technology meets strategic objectives, guiding teams to achieve business success while valuing the unique contributions of each one. Behind all my achievements and challenges, there remains an unshakable belief: adversities are opportunities for growth and self-innovation. As a Technology and Digital Transformation Project Manager, I led 41 professionals across three high-performing squads, specializing in Agile and hybrid methodologies. I was responsible for devising project delivery strategies, onboarding, and stakeholder mapping. Key achievements include rescuing critical projects for clients like MFS - Mobilize Financial Services and Nubank, where I restored billing and governance, effectively reducing costs and preventing contract termination.
As the architect behind the Planning and Innovation Area, I reported to the CFO and was responsible for the company's five-year Innovation Master Plan. I managed a strategic portfolio of 23 projects, spearheading digital transformation and change management initiatives. Key milestones include the swift ideation and launch of a marketplace MVP and overseeing more than $60 MM in investments, achieving significant cost reduction and revenue growth across major sales channels
As Director of a client-side PMO, I oversaw the executive management of five engineering programs totaling over $100 MM in investments. Reporting to both local and U.S. EY leadership, I also contributed to various opportunities like Salesforce implementation and commercial process automation. Key accomplishments include reversing a loss into $2.5 MM in revenue within six months, restoring a critical Mondelez contract through team restructuring and process improvements, and successfully preparing and closing a Salesforce project proposal for Enaex.
